Transforming a Basement

Episode 25: On this episode of Room Rescue, Jonah transforms a basement using mellow neutrals to create a calm, simple and comfortable space after his clients met in the design studio to discuss their basement redesign.

This neutral tone basement remodel starts with a comfortable power recline and headrest with top grain leather and even houses a USB port to charge your electronics. The custom entertainment center from the Bassett BenchMade collection is available in many different customizable options for different looks and lengths.

Adding a unique geometric rug by Capel, adds design while carrying over the neutral tones throughout the room. Jonah added the round Verona living room tables to balance out the geometric trend seen throughout other areas of the room.

In the 60-second helper, Dan talks about fabrics and the different types of fabrics for everyday use. Performance fabrics are recommended because of durability can be found in synthetics fabrics like nylon, acrylic, polyester, and leather. For extremely heavy traffic fabrics, the revolution fabrics are recommended because they are heavy duty, fade, and stain resistant and easy to clean. There are so many different options to choose from at The Warehouse at Huck Finn. Come in and work with our designers to get you the perfect fabric for your new furniture.
